No Sew Slipper Socks

March 1, 2018

No sew DIY projects are great, because you can do them without having to pull out the old sewing machine. (It also means you don't have to go out and buy one if you're more used to using an iron.)

You'll just need a couple of things before we can get started:

Iron

Thick socks

Fusible webbing

Cardboard

Suede fabric

Pencil

Sewing pencil

Pencil

Scissors

1. Put your socks on! Stand on your cardboard and carefully trace your feet. Cut out the cardboard you traced.

2. Use the sewing pencil to trace the cardboard onto the suede fabric and fusible webbing. Cut them out.

3. Take off your socks. Put the cardboard tracings into each sock. Align the fusible webbing to the cardboard on the outside of the sock, placing the suede fabric under it. Carefully iron the suede fabric, making everything is till align. The webbing will fuse the suede to the sock, creating a sole.

4. Take out the cardboard cuttouts and enjoy!
