Your old friend 30 Ways Scarfs is back for more! At Under15, we're always looking for ways to show you how you can innovate your old clothes, so we're super happy to say we're going to hit the 20th mark today! That also means we're also at the end of our countdowns for this series, which is a real bummer. But don't worry, there's more awesome stuff on Under15 you can check out afterwards.
#14 Bracelets In Belt Loops
Anyone whose been on Under15 long enough knows color coordination is everything! The simplest piece can pop when placed against another color that just makes it look right. This is the same idea behind 'Bracelets In Belt Loops'. Find some high key enviable bracelets and attach them to the loops of your pants, before stringing a scarf through the loops and tying it in front like a bow. Cute!
#15 Lasso Scarf
The lasso scarf is another form of the belt-scarf look, with a dramatic cape-ish flare. Take one end of the scarf and press it's edges to one of your hips over your belt loop area in the front. Bring the rest of the scarf around your back, folding it so it meets the other end of the scarf. Using as little of first end of the scarf as possible to make a secure knot, tie the first end of the scarf to the part you wound around you back, lassoing your hips. This style lets for plenty of excess scarf to flutter behind you, almost like a cape. If there's too much, fold the excess in half and ties a second knot next to the first.
#16 Hair Tie
This style works like a ribbon. Putting your hair into a ponytail or bun, place the middle of the scarf on top of your hair tie, and wind it around once before knotting.
#17 Huge Top Knot
Using your scarf like a hair wrap, place the middle of the scarf at the nape of your neck and wind it around your hair, leaving enough to knot in the middle of the front of your head four times. Make sure to make the four knots on top of each other, increasing the size of the original knot.
#18 Bunny Ears
Make a cute look with a scarf by placing the middle of a scarf on the nape of your neck, and tie a knot above your forehead. You will then have two different pieces handing from the knot. Take one piece and fold it to the knot, knotting it again. Do the same with the other piece. Take both of the pieces and tuck it under the band of the scarf wrapped around your head, creating two little "bunny ears" that won't get in your face.
Draw the scarf through the loops of your pants and tie the knot above your butt with two small bows, letting the rest hang.
#20 Back Swing
We've hit #20 ladies and gentlemen! The swing is probably our simplest look to date. Take a long scarf, fold it in half, and drape it across the back of your shoulders.
