3 Things You Can Do To Make Your Skin Look Better

June 3, 2018

Bed Bath And Beyond doesn't have anything on us today! Instead of going out to shop while the overcrowded Memorial Day sales are still going on, you can pamper yourself at home for less using an idea from our short list. Here are 3 things you can do to make your skin look better.

#1: Body Polish In The Shower Idea

Here's an awesome idea -- use your body polish in the shower. If you didn't know, body polish is kind of like a scrub that's used outside of moist environments like the bath or a shower. The idea is to disrupt any dry skin on your body then wash it off.

We don't want to take this intrinsic part of body polish away, so here's a innovate new idea that will make it a bit more effective. Run a shallow pool of hot water in the bath before adding in a shower chair and closing the shower curtain. This will make a makeshift steam room. Sit in the chair and prob your legs on the side of the tub so you don't actually get wet, then use the body polish. This will also open up your pores, allowing for the shower polish to be more effective. If you don't have a tub, you can simple run a hot shower and avoid getting his by the spray, using the humid environment to do the same thing.

Once you rinse the body polish off, you'll have an extra special glow!

#2: Add Oil And Lotion After You Shower

Instead of going for one or the other and dealing with both of their drawbacks, apply lotion and oil for extra soft skin all day. You can apply the oil in the shower if you want, since the water won't wash it off. Then you can pat dry after you're finished and generous apply lotion. That way you aren't clumping them on top of each other at once.

#3: Perfume Over Lotion

Anyone whose ever worn perfume knows it lasts for about as long as it takes to put on. For a smell that stays longer, apply scentless lotion first so it has something to stick to. Perfume dissipates partly due to the natural oils in our skin. Adding a protective screen will help. If you invest in something cute, you can add a light glittery perfume that gives your skin an extra glow. The lotion will also keep your moisturized.
